Editorial - How YOU Can Help
Jim Mock <[email protected]>
As you may have read in the news, we're
going to attempt to put out two issues a month
starting next month. The first issue will be on or
around May 1st, and the second will be on or around
the 15th. The main reason for doing is that about
two weeks after an issue is out, the traffic to the
site dies down quite dramatically, and we'd like for
that not to happen :-)
Obviously, this means we will need more content than
usual, since we'll be putting out twice as many
articles in a month. This is where you, the reader,
can help. If you don't have a topic of your own that
you'd like to write about, take a look at our wanted articles list. If
nothing there catches your interest, look through the
attic. More specifically, the
articles from 1999. These are pretty much out-of-date
by now, and it'd be nice to have updated copies for
people trying to accomplish the tasks the articles
were written about.
We should have a request form for articles on the site
soon too, so if there's a particular topic you'd like
to see covered you'll be able to request it via a
web-based form. Until then, you can always email your
requests to [email protected].
If we're going to be successful at putting out two
issues per month, we're definitely going to need your
help. So, if you have a few minutes to spare and
would like to write an article, please do so! You can
send finished articles to [email protected].
Thanks,
- jim
