Runs on FreeBSD
Editorial - What's Up?
Jim Mock <[email protected]>

As some of you already may know (especially if you've read any of the news on my web site), I'm leaving BSDi this month to take a job at O|S|D|N, part of VA Linux Systems.

So, what does this mean for the 'zine? Not a whole lot will change. I'll still be running the site with Joel, however, the machine it lives on will be moving to Boston with me, so there will be a few days of down time while it's going across the country. This will be beneficial in the long run, since I'll have the box sitting right next to me instead of having to drive into the office if there are problems with it.

I'll still be doing other FreeBSD stuff in my new position as well, including being involved with Slashdot's BSD section. With any luck, this site will become part of the O|S|D|N community sites and, as a result, will get more traffic, notice, etc.

Apart from that, things are going smoothly around here. As you've probably already noticed, I did some more tweaking on the HTML code so it renders better across browsers and platforms. Hopefully all of the rendering issues people were having using Windows, etc., are now fixed.

As always, we could use some articles for the next issue, so if you'd like to write something up for us, please do. If you're looking for a topic, this may come in handy.

I guess that's all for now... if anyone has questions, please feel free to ask :-)
